welcome - deputy head

Welcome to the Senior School at St Joseph’s which is a vibrant and happy community of pupils and staff. Our small size is one of our great strengths: we believe in individual care and attention, and that our children learn best and flourish when they feel valued, happy and secure. We pride ourselves on a warm and caring family atmosphere, which our visitors feel as soon they walk into our school.
In the Senior School, we encourage our pupils to take part in a wide range of academic, sporting and cultural activities; we nurture their individual talents and celebrate in their successes. Our pupils are well-mannered, enthusiastic and motivated, and are encouraged to become confident, independent learners; it is a pleasure to teach in such a positive, disciplined and stimulating environment.
We are very proud of all our pupils and their achievements, whether these come from an excellent set of GCSE grades or from seeing a pupil grow and blossom in confidence and fulfil their potential.
Come and experience our caring and supportive school, and enable your child to develop the knowledge and confidence to pursue goals and meet life’s challenges.
We would be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to the pupils and staff at St Joseph’s. Prospective pupils and parents can visit us at any time and we are always happy to arrange ‘taster days’ for your child. We look forward to meeting you.
Elisabeth Mann
Deputy Head and Head of the Senior School
