life in the nursery

The Nursery is taught by Miss Vanessa Davey, Mrs Bernadette Budden and Mrs Katie Scrivener.

Nursery Session Times

Your child may attend the Nursery class in the half term in which they are three years old. They can attend full or part-time as you wish.

Morning Session – 8.30am – 12noon or 8.30am -1pm, including lunch

Afternoon Session – 12.00-3.30pm

Foundation Prep

There is a facility for children in the Foundation Stage to stay on at school after 3.30pm if required from Monday to Thursday. This is a play based session available until 5pm. It is supervised by our existing team, who know the children well. Collection from these sessions will be via the internal nursery door to the main school, not the garden door as for other sessions.

Taster Session

In the term before your child is due to start in St Joseph's Nursery we would like him/her to attend a Taster Session, this will help the staff to get to know the child before he/she is due to start.
