Year 3 and 4 had a fabulous time on their school residential at Moorland Hall in May. A yomp up Gibbet Hill to play games could have been ruined by the massive downpours but the St Joseph’s children are a hardy lot and the saying ‘ There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing’ certainly applied. They were all wearing their outdoor school clothes so stayed dry and warm. The rest of the residential’s weather was more clement allowing the children to swim in the outdoor pool, do the leap of faith, make dens, stack crates and learn fire lighting techniques. We all had a wonderful time – thank you Moorland Hall.
