There is delight here at school as all the hard work of Mrs Green and the Y11 2015 GCSE art students has finally gained the recognition it deserves. Following the remoderation of this summer’s cohort of exam pieces, many marks have now gone up, allowing full recognition for the great work that any visitor to the school can see adorning the walls of the Senior School. This means the overall school results now stand at an amazing 96% of pupils gaining the national benchmark of five A*-C GCSEs including Maths and English, an incredible result that means the first mixed cohort actually outperformed the final all girls year! Great news – and a truly delighted art teacher.
