Congratulations to ex St Joseph’s School pupil and former Head Girl Kate Marks who has shown her academic excellence to secure the offer of a place at Cambridge University from September 2016. Kate will be aiming to study History at Murray Edwards College, at the University of Cambridge.

Kate Marks

Kate is a real St Joseph’s success story, having joined in the Junior School and going on to become Head Girl. She managed to balance this with her studies – gaining 11 GCSEs, all A* and A before moving on to 6th Form. After 7 years at St Joseph’s Kate will take her A Levels at Exeter School.

Head Teacher Mr Scott said ‘This is a fantastic achievement for Kate, to be offered a place to read a hugely competitive subject at one of the world’s great universities. She fully deserves her success, and I am delighted to see the foundation provided here at St Joseph’s paying off. Kate always puts 100% into all she does and her teachers are delighted to see this paying off. Well done Kate.’
