Offer from Oxford for former St Joseph’s pupil

Great news for former St Joseph’s School pupil Bella Westlake as she aims for Oxford after securing a coveted offer to study at the world-renown institution. Bella, who left St Joseph’s with 7 A*s and 3 As at GCSE, is a real success story. This is shown as the place she has been offered is to study in the hugely competitive English Language and Literature faculty.Bella resized (2)

Bella said “I joined St Joseph’s in 2008, in Year Six. I enjoyed learning with my friends and teachers for six years overall, taking full advantage of the great teachers and extra-curricular activities. I am very grateful that my GCSE results reflected the education I received and the great deal of work I put in throughout my time at St Joseph’s. These have enabled me to apply for some of the best universities in the country. I was interviewed at Keble College, Oxford in December, and they have now offered me a place to read English Language and Literature in September 2016- something I am extremely proud of and grateful for.”

Everyone at St Joseph’s is extremely proud of Bella’s success, and wishes her well as she studies to gain the A Level grades she needs to take up her place. Well done to Bella for building on the Firm Foundation for Life that is the St Joseph’s School motto.
